Low Cost Auto Belay

This innovative, all-in-one Pulley/Auto belay for fall protection is lightweight and easy to use. Auto belay pulley Locks in either direction (right or left) while climbing up or down. This Locking Pulley can be used in numerous rescue and industrial applications but the real beauty is the efficiency and safety when used as an auto belay device. It does not automatically lower as the pricey units do, but if used as an access to a course, zip line, or static elements, this unit will increase throughput, efficiency, and safety. 

As a two way locking pulley with a continuous loop of rope, a climber can ascend to the top and move to another belay system. As they climb, the other attachment loop lowers to the ground ready for the next climber! NO Retrieval lines or laborious pull downs. If the climber falls, the ALF auto belay locks up and keeps the climber suspended until they are ready to climb again. Should they need to be lowered, the lock can be easily disengaged from the ground and the tired climber safely lowered to the ground by staff and facilitators.
