The Gemini Pulley by Petzl is a double Prusik pulley with moving side plates designed for technical hauling systems and raising heavy loads. Prusik pulleys are designed to be used with a Prusik hitch, making for a lightweight progress capture system. The hitch releases when it comes in contact with the bottom edge of the pulley.
