Zip Line Brake - Zip Line Trolley Brake - Zip Line Cable Brake
The zip line cable brake is made of super high density material designed for cable braking for guides and instructors who need to control their speed coming in for a landing. After years of working with many HDPE's, HDPP's, Nylons, and MSDE's, we have finally found the ultimate zip line brake material. We have been testing the zip line brake on 3,000'+ Lines in Hawaii. This zip line cable brake has the best stopping power, strongest wearing material, and least abrasive to the cable. This zip brake block will provide miles of full force zip line braking action. The real beauty is the zip line brake has almost no resistance when not weighted.
The zip line cable brake is designed to improve guide and staff safety and control when leading or following a zip line tour group. It is a friction zip line braking system that will not stop instantly and only experienced guides and zip line staff should be operating the zip line cable brake. Applying too little zip line braking pressure or applying pressure too late will result in injury, death, or worse. Applying too much pressure or applying too early will result in stranding, isolation, and sadness somewhere in the middle of the zip line cable. This zip line brake has not been used with guests, ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED ZIP LINE GUIDES AND STAFF.
The Zip Line cable brake is made with stainless steel side plates and a 1" attachment opening. The zip line cable brake will accept 2 carabiners. The zip line cable brake side plates can be reused on another friction block when it does finally wear out. Optional 40" hand spliced polydacron connection and pull rope. This is not to be relied on as your only braking device. This is not a fail safe brake device. This zip line brake must be worn-in to reach maximum efficiency (molded to cable). Carabiner not included.
