CMC Rappel 8

The design of the popular CMC Rappel has been refined. The slightly more compact design offers superb control on 3/8 to 7/16 in. rope, which makes it just right for SWAT teams, climbers, cavers, and sport rappellers. Machined from 1/2 in. aluminum plate, the Rappel 8 contains almost twice the material of other small 8s, providing better heat dissipation. Now with CMC's exotic proprietary finish for even longer wear resistance.

UL Classified to NFPA 1983 - Light Use 

Because the CMC Rappel 8 was optimized for use with 9 to 11mm rope, we decided to only certify it in the Light Use class.
