REVERSO® Belay Device and Descender This system allows you to safely take your hands off the rope so you can eat, drink and organize gear as you belay, saving time on multi-pitch ice climbs. Notches added to the break-hand side increase friction when belaying a leader, so it's easy to catch your friend when he takes a massive screamer off the second pitch. This is a great Belay device for ropes course participants! For Rock Climbing you can belay the leader or the second, descender. For use with single or double ropes. Easily accepts the larger 10.5 and 11 mil ropes used in challenge courses that most other ATC's struggle with. Rig as a lock off for drilling bolts or route setting. Multipurpose device: belaying the leader, one or two seconds, or as a descender. Also great for rescue kits and challenge course buildiers. Attachment point for direct attachment to belay (for belaying one or two seconds in self-braking mode). Separation of ropes for easier clipping of alternate points and avoids crossing of the ropes when rappelling. Grooved spacers allow excellent control of the rope for rappelling and lowering.
