TIMBER BOLTS3/4" Timber Bolts are the best bolt for Pole to Pole attachments. Super strong and easy to install, Timber bolts are used for pole to pole attachments, deck beam mounts, climbing towers, climbing walls, adventure towers, high ropes course elements and low ropes course elements. Timber bolts provide the strength and integrity needed to assure your structure's long life and safety. A round washer, lock washer and nut is included for each bolt.
Timber bolts are also referred to as pole bolts, log bolts, dome head, economy, fender head, safety head, and mushroom head bolts. They are used in marine and wood applications. The underside of the large, rounded, low-profile head of a timber bolt has two nubs or fins which prevent the bolt from turning in the timber. The oversized timber bolt head eliminates the need for a malleable iron washer, and therefore reduces costs. MANUFACTURING Portland Bolt manufactures timber bolts from 1/2" diameter through 1-1/2" diameter in most ASTM, AASHTO, and SAE specifications. Special timber bolt tooling can be created to produce nonstandard head dimensions or bolt heads with your company's name and/or logo. 3/4" diameter Timber bolts will hold over 20,000 lbs.
